Palamedes

Palamedes (formerly known as TavliGUI) is a freeware program that can play the greek backgammon variants Portes, Plakoto and Fevga. It's evaluation engine is based on artificial neural networks that were trained using reinforcement learning. Palamedes can also be used to analyze positions.

Downloading and installing:

You can get binaries for the Windows OS. Simply download from the link below, unzip to the directory of your choice and run the executable file. Other OS will follow at a later stage.
